Faithful. Through thick and thin, staying faithful is how I would describe Cecily & Eric.

“We began the process of adopting through our fertility clinic, we were told the wait would be up to six months. Two months went by and I received a call, I remember to this day receiving that call while I was driving. I had a long list of things I had to do for that day and when I got the call all I could think was I needed to get out of the car and get down on my knees. We had three embryos available! For us!! Our God chose us!”
But wait, it gets better.

“I truly believe God was winking at me, saying, ‘I have you, keep your eyes on me.’ ”
On a whim, I looked up the meaning for the name Ellis. It means “the light of God.” Fitting, hm?
I feel honored to have captured this journey for these two, so they can always remember how God came through for them when they stayed close to Him.
